SUNDAY STYLE

29 Jul

My husband is a huge fan of camping whereas me… not so much. I haven’t camped since we took our eldest child to Glastonbury when she was six months old, and I’ve had no desire to sleep in a tent since then.

However, I gave in and we headed to Cromer in Norfolk completely spur of the moment on Saturday. I must admit I’d still rather sleep in a comfy hotel bed as opposed to the hard ground (someone may have forgotten to pack the pump for the air bed…) but we had a great time. The kids found the trip a real adventure and absolutely loved spending time on the beach.

We drove back home through some really beautiful little villages that I would love to visit properly. My favourite one was Thornham, where we spotted a nice deli, great pubs and restaurants and a glamping site, which looked fantastic. And you can stay in a gorgeous tent with a working Aga for £700/week. I’m tempted to book it…
